Bar/Clubhouse Hours
We’ll be extending the opening hours for the clubhouse bar from next week. Regular opening times will now be Monday to Wednesday from 7.00-10.00pm, Thursday 6.00-10.00pm, Friday 6.00-9.30pm, and Saturday from 9.00-3.00pm.
Remember that the bar/clubhouse is also open on Sundays when I am on site. You can check availability in the Club Manager hours at the end of this newsletter every week.
You can get hot & cold drinks & snacks, including draught beer from the local BR3WERY in Beckenham, coffee & hot chocolate from the hot drinks machine, etc; plus tennis balls, grips, and other accessories, and you can also drop off rackets for restringing.

Tennis Court Maintenance – Tuesday 21 April 2026
Courts 1 & 2 will be closed next Tuesday for the annual chemical treatment for moss and weeds. This will be followed by pressure cleaning on Wednesday 6 May. I’ll send out a reminder, but keep an eye on the booking sheets for court availability.

The Summer Kent & North Kent tennis results from last week:
12 April: Men’s 2 v DL Beckenham 1 (A) – won 4-0 (Kent Div 3)
12 April: Women’s 3 v Bearstead 4 (H) lost 2-2 (Kent Div 7)
12 April: Women’s 2 v Oakwood 1 (A) – drew 4-4 (NK Div D)
17 April: Midweek Mixed Vets v Sidcup Rec (H) – won 7-1 (NK Div D)

Club Manager Hours
I’ll be available at the Club as follows over the coming week: Saturday from 0900-1500, Sunday 0900-1200, Monday 0900-1500, and Tuesday 1200-2100. During these times you can obtain drinks & snacks from the bar, as well as balls & accessories.
