Yoga classes

We have yoga classes four times a week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday and Sunday. No experience necessary and most of our classes are drop-in.

Dynamic Hatha Yoga with Tanya – Monday 19:15 – 20:45
A hatha-based class with a focus on dynamic movement and flow. The class uses physical poses, stretches or asana, breathing techniques and relaxation to promote clarity of the mind and of the body. Tanya teaches in a way that aids the student to progress on through each class in a safe, fun and warm environment. All levels welcome including beginners. Tanya is a British Wheel Yoga level 4 Diploma  teacher (500 hrs).

Mindful Yoga Flow with Mary – Tuesday 20:00 – 21:15 and Sunday 09:00 – 10:30
Yoga and mindfulness have been proven to enhance physical and mental well being. Classes teach yoga poses to develop balance, flexibility and strength while mindfulness techniques help ground you into an open-hearted awareness in the present moment. Feel relaxed, energised and grounded.

Dynamic Yoga Flow with Clare – Wednesday 19:15 – 20:15
A Vinyasa flow style yoga class with creative sequences and flowing asanas set to a creative soundtrack. Clarebelieves yoga is for everybody and classes are suitable for beginners up to the more experienced yogi as plenty of variations are given to suit all levels. This is a strong yet soft-hearted practice where mats are provided and all that is required is an open mind. £6 for club members, £8 for non-members drop in.

Yoga for Beginners PLUS – Thursday 18:45 – 20:15 (90-minutes)
This class is ideal for Jules Yoga beginners wanting to embrace the next stage of their practice, and those with yoga experience. We break down postures and then build on them, to enable students to learn which muscles they are using and how to make them stronger. Postures are sequenced at a steady pace. This is NOT a dynamic vinyasa flow class. We close with a meditation practice and a 15-minute guided relaxation. Please book your place on the mat in advance. Mats, blocks, straps, blankets, and eye pillows are provided. £10 Single class, and your second class is free. £50 for six classes (for the price of five). Jules is teacher trained by the British Wheel of Yoga.

Yin yoga for all (beginners welcome) – Thursday 20:30 – 21:45 (75-mins)
This class is ideal for Jules Yoga beginners wanting to embrace the next stage of their practice, and those with yoga experience. We break down postures and then build on them, to enable students to learn which muscles they are using and how to make them stronger. Postures are sequenced at a steady pace. Hatha yoga for absolute beginners – Friday 19:00 – 20:30 (90-minutes)
A Jules Yoga class will help you to relax within the first five minutes of being on the mat by introducing you to yoga in a gentle and focused way. As a beginner to yoga, week by week you will learn how to use your body to strengthen and lengthen muscles, increase your flexibility, improve your posture, and take control of your breath. You will leave the class energised and ready for the week ahead. As with all Jules Yoga classes, this class includes a breathing practice, asana, meditation and 15-minutes of guided relaxation. Please book your place on the mat in advance. Mats, blocks, straps, blankets, and eye pillows are provided. £10 Single class, and your second class is free. £50 for six classes (for the price of five).
