Wine Tasting Evening – Friday 29 May 2026
We could do with half a dozen more people to make a success of the wine tasting, so please let me know if you want to attend as soon as possible. Many thanks to those who have booked already. Taste a selection of five wines under Kenrick’s guidance, with a few nibbles to keep you going.
Family members and friends are welcome so, if you haven’t been before, give it a go. The evening will start at 7.00pm in the clubhouse. Please contact me to book your place – tickets cost £15 per person. 

Tennis court maintenance – Courts 3, 4 & 5
We are aware that the recent changeable weather has caused some issues with air pockets between the base and carpet on courts 4 & 5. The contractors were on site yesterday and should be back within the next two weeks to make repairs, along with the ruck to the side of court 5.

French Open Tennis on TV
Tournament matches and highlights will be shown on TV in the bar/clubhouse every evening during the usual opening times, and also at the weekend when I’m on site. A reminder that opening hours are Monday to Wednesday 7.00-10.00pm, Thursday 6.00-10.00pm, and Friday 6.00-9.00pm. Please note that the bar will be open daytime only on Bank Holiday Monday.

Club Manager Hours
I’ll be available at the Club as follows over the coming week: Saturday from 0900-1500, Sunday 0900-1330, BH Monday 0900-1500, Thursday 1800-1930, and Friday 1200-2100. During these times you can obtain drinks & snacks from the bar, as well as balls & accessories.
