Tennis Court 5
Unfortunately, the repairs to tennis court 5 have taken slightly longer than expected. Therefore, the laying of the new artificial clay surface will now be completed next week.

Volunteer of the Year
Further to last week’s AGM, congratulations to Alastair Putt who received his award as this year’s Volunteer of the Year from the Board of Directors. A squash and racketball member, Alastair has taken on the running of leagues and tournaments over the last year, as well as acting as Chair of the section committee. This has been particularly important after squash and racketball were closed for significant periods in 2020-21.

Christmas and New Year
Please see below dates that activities and facilities will be closed over the festive period.
The bar/clubhouse will be closed between 20 December 2021 and 7 January 2022, although there will still be access to the foyer for the floodlight controls. Club play sessions will end on Sunday 19 December 2021, and will restart on Tuesday 4 January 2022.
Remember that all courts are available to book and play throughout the period.

Club Manager Hours
I will be available at the Club over the following hours between 18 – 24 December: Saturday 0900-1500, Sunday 0900-1500, and Monday 0900-1500. Remember that during these times you can obtain drinks & snacks from the bar, as well as balls & accessories, and hire the Slinger ball machine.
