Emma Raducanu
You may have been following Emma’s amazing run at the US Open championships over the last few weeks, after doing so well at Wimbledon earlier in the year. Did you know that Emma went to school in Orpington and was coached in the Bromley area.
The Women’s Final is Saturday 11 September at 9.00pm our time, so let’s hope she can bring it home for Kent Tennis, who supported her in her development. Anything is possible when you start playing tennis!

Reminders
The bar is now open Tuesday to Thursday from 6.30-9.30pm, and Friday from 6.00-9.00pm, as well as all times at the weekend when I am on site. Remember that, apart from drinks & snacks, you can buy tennis & squash balls, grips and other accessories too. It’s been nearly 18 months since the bar was open properly, so please support if you can.
The new midweek daytime tennis club play session started successfully last Tuesday, so the more the merrier! All members are welcome, irrespective of playing level, as well as Off-peak members who cannot attend the usual club play sessions – every Tuesday between 0930-1130.

Club Manager Hours
I will be available at the Club over the following hours this coming week: Monday from 0900-1500, Thursday from 1800-2100, Friday 0900-1200 and Sunday from 0900-1500.
