Six years ago I moved into the area and joined the Club to play tennis… little did I know that on 11 April 2016, I would walk in the gate as Club Manager!

Many of you have been members much longer than I have been here, and several of you have just joined, so here are a few reminders of the changes during my time at the Club:

> four artificial clay tennis courts have replaced old acrylic & tarmac courts
> three tennis courts have been converted to improved LED floodlighting
> Toby was appointed as Head Coach to develop the coaching programme
> the coaching programme was brought in-house from The Parklangley Club
> the squash building has had a new roof and improvements to changing rooms
> the squash building has had a new heating & hot water system installed
> the squash courts have had new front walls and LED lights installed
> a new outdoor seating area was built adjacent to tennis court 1
> Witty Kiddies pre-school started in Autumn 2016
> bar hours & services were extended and expanded – hopefully returning soon!
> a new floor has been laid in the clubhouse hall – hopefully to be seen soon!
> turnover has doubled to enable re-investment in facilities
