Each day this week, there will be lots of information relating to the Club reopening…

Welfare Officer & safeguarding
If you are concerned about anyone in relation to behaviour towards a child or vulnerable adult, it is important to understand the procedure to report such a concern.
The Club takes its responsibilities for safeguarding very seriously, and I act as Welfare Officer, and first point of contact, for the Club. For any issues around safeguarding, I can be reached through all the usual channels.
The Club Safeguarding policy and further information can be found here: https://www.sydenham-tennis-squash-croquet-club.co.uk/safeguarding/

Booking rules from 29 March 2021
There will be more detailed information coming out prior to reopening, however, it is worth clarifying the key booking rules and playing restrictions that will be in place from Monday until further notice.
For tennis, a court can be booked for either singles or doubles play, but social distancing should be maintained as much as possible during play, in particular when changing ends.
For croquet, the lawn can be used by up to six players within one booking slot, ie one singles and one doubles, and again social distancing measures should be observed.
For all bookings, you should arrive as close to your booking slot as possible, and remember to finish on time if players are waiting. Please DO NOT enter the court before the previous users have vacated, and allow space at the tennis court gates for players to exit.
Also, although you may not have seen friends for a while, you should leave immediately after your booking and not hang around the Club grounds – NO spectators are allowed at present, with the exception of ONE parent/guardian for junior coaching activities.

Members area of the website
Here you will much useful information, although some may not be applicable until normal service resumes! You will find the link to book a court or the croquet lawn, and access your ClubSpark account for membership details.
The area can be found at the bottom of the homepage and is passcode protected. The code is always the same as the doorcodes, which are changed every few months.
