Membership subscriptions
There have been a few queries regarding my previous communications about membership fees. To get the information out to all members, it was necessary to bulk email, so it may not have been totally clear. Hopefully, the remainder will clarify the current situation.
If you pay your fees in a lump sum each year, you will not need to renew during the current lockdown period. We will confirm the status of your membership individually once we know when we can reopen, including any adjustment to the renewal date.
If you pay your subs in instalments by direct debit, these payments are now on pause. It is important that members understand that these payments are NOT monthly fees, but a credit plan to allow members to spread the cost of membership. Therefore, any payments collected during lockdown will not be refunded as this is part of your instalment plan with the Club to pay your annual fee.
However, your membership will be treated exactly the same as members who pay in advance once we can reopen, and we will confirm the status of your membership at this point, including the recommencement of collections and any adjustment to the renewal date to cover the period of lockdown.
Hope that makes sense, but please feel free to contact me with any queries.

Quiz & Trivia
Since winning her 23rd, and last, Grand Slam singles title at the Australian Open in 2017, Serena Williams has been striving to equal Margaret Court’s all-time record of 24. She is trying again at this year’s Aussie Open, but has lost in four Grand Slam Finals in between, to four different players. Who did she lose to?
