Squash & Racketball update
Unfortunately, the courts will remain closed until further notice due to the current Covid restrictions in place. Although there are some forms of permitted play, we do not feel that we can operate safely under these conditions.
Because of the uncertainty around when we will play again, we have decided to suspend fees with immediate effect. However, if you would like to play tennis instead, we will keep your membership open to book courts – you will continue to pay your current fees and there will be no surcharge for tennis.
Please let me know by Monday 26 October if you would like to transfer to tennis.
All S & R members will receive a separate email during the week to explain the current status of their membership, eg renewal date, any extension period owing, etc.

Liam Hindson – Assistant Manager
My assistant Liam is leaving his position at the end of October, after three and a half years. The role was created in April 2017 to support with the increased administration requirements involved in the development of the Club.
Over the years Liam has focussed on building the Club’s online presence, improving the website, overseeing the social media posts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, as well as producing much of the promotional material used around the site.
Hopefully, Liam will now be able to play more tennis and we’ll see him on court a bit more!

American Doubles Tennis Tournament – 30 October 2020
There are a few places left in the Halloween fun tournament. You will play a game of mixed doubles for 15 minutes before everything changes – the court you play on, the opposing team, and even your doubles partner!
There will be pumpkin soup to keep you warm. All playing categories are welcome to take part. Cost is £7.50 per person – enter here.
