American Doubles Fun Tennis Tournament – 30 October 2020
Join our annual Halloween themed tournament. You will play a game of mixed doubles for 15 minutes before everything changes – the court you play on, the opposing team, and even your doubles partner!
There will be pumpkin soup to keep you warm. All playing categories are welcome to take part. Cost is £7.50 per person – contact me to enter.

Roger De Klerk Trophy
If you are in the Improver/Intermediate playing category, you can still enter the annual tournament, which will take place on Saturday 10 October 2020. The event is for Mixed doubles pairs, so you will need to find a partner, and will run between 10.00am – 3.00pm.
If you are unsure of your playing category, contact me to confirm your eligibility, but anyone who attends Wednesday evening club play can enter. Please email me if you would like to enter, along with your partner’s name.

Tennis singles leagues
The current round of the leagues has just started. Congratulations to David Evans, Werner De Wit and Corinne Henry who won the Gold, Silver and Bronze sections respectively. All members are welcome to join the leagues, so please contact me if you would like to join next round.

Kent Club tennis teams
This weekend see the start of the various Kent tennis leagues. The Club has entered four Men’s, three Women’s and two Mixed teams this year. The fixtures are detailed on the court booking calendar, so feel free to come and support the teams.
We are always looking for additional players so let us know if you are interested in representing the Club. Last Winter season the Women’s 1 team won Kent Division 4A and the subsequent play-off to be champions, and the Mixed 2 team were runners-up in North Kent Division 2A.
