Following recent changes in Government guidance and the introduction of the Local Alert System, please read the following important updates and reminders.

London is now in tier 2 of the Local Alert System, and national governing bodies have updated their advice regarding safe practice.

General
Pre-visit, all players should consider whether they are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19, and should not attend the Club if so. The Government Hands – Face – Space guidance should be followed. Full details on symptoms and guidance can be found here.
The clubhouse will stay closed, and should only be accessed for Courts 1 & 2 floodlighting and tennis ball recycling. Please use the sanitizer provided on entry/exit of the foyer.
Sanitizer is also available on all tennis court gates, squash building entrance, so please use frequently when touching communal equipment and entrances.

Tennis
We are pleased to say that the changes do not currently affect tennis play at the Club. Club play will continue with a register being taken by the person running the session.
Please remember though that, once off court, members must maintain individual social distancing at a minimum of 2m when not playing, unless from the same household.
Coaching sessions will continue, but parents or guardians must remain outside the courts and also maintain full social distancing measures.
You can read the latest LTA information here.

Squash & Racketball
Unfortunately, England Squash have confirmed that squash play is not permitted in tier 2 locations between players from different households. Therefore, the courts will be closed with immediate effect.
We will keep the guidance under review and consider limited opening for solo practice and play between members of the same household – look out for a separate email update next week.
You can read the latest England Squash advice here.

The squash building will still be accessible to all members for toilets, drinking water and tennis court floodlighting, but please remember to limit the numbers in the changing areas at any time to allow for safe social distancing, and use the sanitizer at the entrance door on entry/exit.

Keep safe and well
