The Club will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Thursday 3 December 2020 at 8.00pm.

General proceedings
Due to restrictions on the number of people permitted to meet up indoors, the Club will not be able to hold the AGM in the clubhouse this year. Instead, following recently updated Government legislation, the AGM will be held online.
Subject to any further changes in guidelines, it is planned that a small group of Directors will host from the clubhouse, with all other members eligible to attend by Zoom.
Full details of the meeting will be sent out at the end of this month, including the agenda and all relevant papers. Legally, we must hold the meeting before the end of December, so it cannot be put back any later.

Voting
There are several matters that will require a vote, including a Special Resolution regarding the future of the Club. An electronic voting system will be in place on the evening, for those that attend the meeting. Alternatively, members will have the right to vote by proxy prior to the meeting. Again, full details will be provided.

Volunteer of the Year
Unfortunately, we cannot make the usual presentations of trophies and awards this year. However, we did not want to miss out on naming a volunteer of the year, especially as there have been significant contributions by many members, both during and post-lockdown.
If you would like to nominate someone for the award, please email me by Saturday 24 October with a brief explanation. The award will be announced along with the distribution of the papers at the end of the month.

Keep safe and well
