Tennis – latest return to play information
Further to the Government statement on 23 June 2020, the LTA has published updated guidance for Clubs, coaching and players. You can find the full version for players here. These are the key points affecting operations at the Club from 6 July 2020.

The bar will be open to purchase drinks and snacks, for consumption in the grounds, during the following hours: Saturday 0900-1600, Sunday 0900-1600, Wednesday 1600-2100, Friday 1600-2100. The clubhouse will remain closed, so please ring the doorbell for attention. Tennis balls and accessories also available.

Whilst it is still required to remove most court equipment, the drag brushes for the clay courts will be returned. These will be kept by the court entrance – please ensure they are returned after use. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure they use the sanitizer provided by the gate before and after use of the brushes.

The guidelines also have a timely reminder of good practice that may have slipped a bit! Remember to allow players to exit the court safely before entering, and do not congregate by court entrances or mix with groups you have not been playing with. Even with the bar open for takeaway service, social distancing should still be maintained in the grounds.

Court booking systems
The tennis, croquet and squash portals to the court booking systems can now be found in the Members area of the website. A reminder that this can be accessed via the link in the footer on the website homepage.
You can use your ClubSpark login to book directly without using the web link, and there is an app available too. A user guide for both the ClubSpark and MyCourts systems will be uploaded in the next couple of weeks, but feel free to contact me if you have any queries.
