Tennis play – rules & restrictions
The LTA have updated advice for players as a reminder of safe practice as we ease out of lockdown. Please see the useful infographic here, which is also on display around the Club.
For clarification, court bookings must only be made for singles or doubles play. Members must not organise groups to attend and swap between courts as this could breach the Government rules for public gatherings. This is the reason club play is still not permitted at the moment.
Toilets and indoor areas remain closed at the moment.

Members area of Club website
We have welcomed 36 new members since reopening on 16 May. There is a lot of useful information about the Club in the members area of the website. The link to this area is in the footer of the homepage.
The Club General Bye-laws and Disciplinary Rules were added recently, and several other documents are being updated, so this area will also be of interest to existing members.

Coaching programme
We have scheduled to start Drop-in coaching sessions again from Thursday 18 June. These will be small groups of no more than 5 players and will have to be booked and paid in advance. There are some changes to the times and qualification for each session.
Sessions up to Saturday 4 July are now available to book. Full details and booking can be found on the website here.
There is also a six week Tennis Xpress beginners course with Toby starting on 18 June, if you know anyone who wants to learn the game.

Keep safe and well
