Further to the Government statements this week, we have taken several decisions regarding operations at the Club.

Squash and tennis courts will remain open for booking as current guidance is that recreational exercise that takes place at a safe distance from others and in safe exercise environments is something that can continue during this period.

All club play sessions will remain on the system for members to attend. However, the sessions will no longer be supported by staff, so tennis members will need to provide own balls and pay for light meters if required, although the light meters will become free from 1 April.

All Group and Drop-in coaching will be suspended from Sunday 22 March 2020. Individual or 2-1 coaching is still allowed under safe practices, so please contact Toby on 07545 333535 or toby.yates@sltcc.co.uk to book a lesson.

All scheduled events and tournaments have been cancelled or postponed – see the Events page on the website for more details here. Leagues will be dealt with separately to participants over the weekend, so please look out for an email.

Although the bar/clubhouse will be closed until further notice, the squash building will remain open for toilets and washing facilities. Additional cleaning and hygiene routines will continue – eg extra cleaning of contact surfaces such as door handles, push plates, taps, etc.

Please remember to follow Government guidelines regarding hygiene and transmission, particularly in respect of frequent and thorough washing of hands and social distancing.

Many thanks again for your co-operation.
