New Focus 2020
Further to the Annual General Meeting last month, there will now be a new focus on the Clubhouse development project. We are looking into options to include two squash courts into the development, which will replace the existing squash court building as this is no longer fit for purpose in the long term. This new focus will kick start a fundraising campaign – more of which to follow over the next few weeks, apart from the following…

Easyfundraising
We relaunched our Easyfundraising account a couple of months ago, but the uptake has been very disappointing. All you have to do is register and support our cause, then when you purchase from your favourite retailers through Easyfundraising the Club will receive a donation. It’s free to use and does not affect the way you use your account – so it’s win-win! You can buy from thousands of major retailers, such as Amazon, Argos, CurrysPCWorld, ebay, M&S, etc. We have only FIVE subscribers so far who have raised over £30 – we have in excess of 500 members so think what we could raise! More details and the link to our page can be found here.

Guess the weight of the Pumpkin!
As a bit of fun for Halloween, Peter Lewis has donated a pumpkin, grown by his own fair hands, to award as a prize for a competition. You will be able to select a weight from the sheet behind the bar for £1 until 31 October. As well as the pumpkin, the winner will win a bottle of wine! All proceeds go the the fundraising project, and the winner will be announced at the American Tournament on 1 November.
