Junior Tennis teams
Following interest from a number of junior members the Club is looking to enter teams in the Kent Summer League 2019. Currently we have interest in U16 teams for both boys and girls (born after 1 April 2003).
Teams are likely to play between three and five matches from April – July, and the matches are unlikely to last much more than two hours.
If any junior members are interested in representing the Club, either at U16 or at other age groups, please contact me (and/or Martin Lee at martin.lee_1@outlook.com) by 15 December 2018, so that we can understand demand (entries have to be made in early 2019).
Junior members shouldn’t be concerned about their current playing standard as this is a great opportunity for them to develop their competitive tennis skills.

Go Sober in October
Those of you following the newsletter will know that I undertook the Go Sober in October challenge to raise funds for MacMillan Cancer Support. Thanks so much to all of you who supported and sponsored me. The challenge has now closed and I am happy to confirm that the total raised for a great cause was £310. Also, I can report that I am now firmly ‘off’ the wagon!

Club Manager hours
I will be away on holiday for a few days next week, so you will be able to find me at the Club as follows:
Monday 1.00-4.00pm, Friday 1.00-9.00pm, Saturday 9.00-4.00pm.
