What is yoga?
The traditional meaning of the word ‘yoga’ originates from the Sanskrit work ‘yuj’ meaning to yoke or join together.  In more general terms, yoga is seen as a practical way to help you release body tension and promote a better sense of wellbeing.

What will you learn?
This is a yoga class for complete beginners to yoga.  You will learn the very basics of yoga and will progress on through each class in a safe, fun and warm environment.  Yoga uses physical poses, stretches or Asana, breathing techniques and meditation to promote clarity of the mind and relaxation of the body.

The class is taught by Tanya who is a British Wheel of Yoga student teacher who has been practising yoga for 15 years. Qualification BWY 500 HRS
