Environmental sustainability group
Further to my newsletter last week, we have agreed a meeting date of Saturday 31 January at 12.00pm for the sustainability group. The group will be discussing the redevelopment of the North-west corner of the grounds behind tennis court 6 into an eco-friendly area. If you are interested in joining the group, please let me know and I can send you information about the project so far.

Out of Pocket – Friday 13 February 2026
There are not that many tickets remaining for this performance. Join us for a specially curated mix of sixties to modern music, including Abba, Aretha, Kylie, Prince, Queen and many more.
The event is for adults only, or family members who are 16 years and above. There are only 50 tickets in total available – cost £5 per person. 
Please email me for information on how to pay. Guests and family members are welcome, but please remember that the guidelines for our Club licence are up to 3 guests per member.

The Summer Kent & North Kent tennis results from last week:
17 January: Women’s 3 v Gravesham 2 (H) – won 2-2 (Kent Div 9)
18 January: Men’s Vets v DL Dartford (H) – won 4-0 (Kent Div 5)
The Squash team results from the last week:
20 January: A v Poult Wood 4 – won 12-6 (Kent Div 4)

Club Manager Hours
I’ll be available at the Club as follows over the coming week: Saturday from 0900-1500, Sunday 0900-1330, Monday 0900-1500, Tuesday 1800-2100, and Friday 1200-1800. During these times you can obtain drinks & snacks from the bar, as well as balls & accessories.
