Environmental sustainability
You may have recall that we formed a sustainability group from within the membership last year. The group met a couple of times and agreed to focus on redeveloping the North-west corner of the grounds behind tennis court 6 into an eco-friendly area.
This project has moved forward a little and we plan to hold another meeting shortly. Please let me know if you would like to join this group and help shape the development and I’ll send you a list of potential meeting dates.

The Summer Kent & North Kent tennis results from last week:
4 January: Mixed 1 v Margate 1 (A) – lost 1-3 (Kent Div 2)
10 January: Men’s 3 v DL Kings Hill 4 (A) – lost 1-3 (Kent Div 6)
10 January: Women’s 2 v Hayes 1 (H) – won 6-2 (NK Div 3)
11 January: Mixed 2 v Dan James (H) – won 4-0 (Kent Div 9)
11 January: Women’s 3 v Whitstable 3 (A) – won 4-0 (Kent Div 9)
14 January: Mixed Vets v Chislehurst (A) – won 8-0 (NK Div 4)
The Squash team results from the last week:
16 December: H v Bromley Sports 2 – won 14-6 (Kent Div 4)

Club Manager Hours
I’ll be available at the Club as follows over the coming week: Sunday from 0900-1500, Monday 0900-1200, Wednesday 0900-1330, and Friday 1200-1800. During these times you can obtain drinks & snacks from the bar, as well as balls & accessories.
