Wine Tasting Evening – Friday 3 October 2025
The next wine tasting evening with Kenrick’s Wines from Sydenham is coming up. We do need a minimum number of people to make the event work, so please let me know if you want to attend as soon as possible.
Family members and friends are welcome so, if you haven’t been before, give it a go. The evening will start at 7.00pm in the clubhouse.
Please contact me to book your place – tickets cost £15 per person. No payment required as we just need your commitment at the moment – payment to be made in the week prior to the event.

Club Recognition Awards
Just a reminder that we are looking for nominations for the Club Recognition Awards.
The Volunteer Recognition Award is for both short and long term voluntary contributions, and the Special Recognition Award for longer term service to the Club in either a paid or voluntary capacity. You will find full details of the criteria for these awards here, along with a list of previous recipients.
If you think someone should be honoured at this year’s AGM in November, please put your nomination forward to me by email – deadline for nominations is Saturday 27 September 2025 – with a brief explanation of why you think this person is deserving.

Club Team Results
The Squash team results from the last week:
11 September: A v Knole Park 1 – lost 6-17 (Kent Div 5)
16 September: H v Bexley 4 – won 17-4 (Kent Div 5)

Club Manager Hours
I’ll be available at the Club as follows over the coming weekend, and then on leave until Friday 26 September: Friday from 0900-1800, Saturday 1300-1600, and Sunday 0900-1500. During these times you can obtain drinks & snacks from the bar, as well as balls & accessories, and hire the Slinger ball machine.
