Congratulations – Winners!
Following their victory in the Regional Finals in June, Anna Daniel and Veronique Vera qualified for the National Finals of this year’s Play Your Way To Wimbledon tournament, getting to play on the grass of the All England Club.
They played Round Robin matches on Wednesday/Thursday, Quarter Finals & Semi Finals on Friday, and won the Championship on Saturday, beating a pair from Cumbria in the Final! You can see some photos here: PYWTW1 / PYWTW2

Wine Tasting Evening – Friday 3 October 2025 – Rescheduled
Unfortunately, there was not enough take up for the wine tasting this evening so we have rescheduled to Friday 3 October. Hopefully, there’ll be more interest after the summer holidays as the last evening was excellent.
Please contact me to book your place – tickets cost £15 per person. The evening will start at 7.00pm in the clubhouse with Kenrick’s Wines from Sydenham. Family and friends welcome.

Club Team Results
The Summer Kent & North Kent tennis results from last week:
9 August: Women’s 3 v Bromley Wendover 3 (H) – won 3-1 (Kent Div 8)
And congratulations to the Men’s 1 & Women’s 3 teams who won their respective groups, and play off for Divisional titles on Saturday 6 September. Both teams will be promoted next season – Men’s 1 to Kent Division 1 for the first time in a number of years!

5 August: H v Limpsfield 3 – won 15-3 (Kent Div 5)

Club Manager Hours
I’ll be available at the Club as follows this weekend: Saturday from 0900-1330, Sunday 0900-1500, and Monday 0900-1500, then I’ll be on leave until Sunday 24 August. During these times you can obtain drinks & snacks from the bar, as well as balls & accessories, and hire the Slinger ball machine.
