Safeguarding and welfare are very important to the Club. Here you will find some important information regarding these matters…

Reporting a concern
The Club’s Safeguarding Policy is available in the clubhouse foyer, as well as in the Members area of the website. This includes the procedure for reporting a concern in a tennis environment.
The principal contact is me, as Club Welfare Officer. There are Welfare Officer posters located around the Club with contact details. In my absence, Gillian Bartlett (Club Chair) and Keith McMillan (Director) act as my deputies.

First Aid kit
Two first aid kits are maintained on site for use by members: the first is in the squash court building just inside the entrance and is available at all times; the second is in the bar when open. All of the coaching team are qualified first aiders if required.

Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Also in the squash court building entrance, hanging on the wall, you will find a defibrillator for use if someone suffers a cardiac arrest. Please do not be afraid to use it if such an emergency arises and no staff are on site. The device is automated, and you can view the St John Ambulance video on how to use an AED here.
